Containment-Lite

In the article “Containment-Lite”, the main point is the United States government needs to keep up good relationships with both China and India. The title of the article means that we need to work with China; however, we need to manage the relationship we have with China. China is important to the United States both economically and politically. For example, it’s powerful but it needs to be managed like a pit-bull. If you treat the pit-bit with respect and caution it will not turn on you, but it also needs to be trained so it will not try to overpower you. I agree with the author on the fact that we need to continue being allies with India and China in order to insure that they will continue working with the U.S. government.
